These fabulous straight razors are made in very small batches in Austria. The blanks are exclusively designed and drop forged from best Silver steel (approx. 1.25% carbon) in Solingen. Hardening, tempering are done single handedly by the razor maker himself and not in huge batches as usual. The decorated back design is done exclusively for Rasurpur by hand and the upper and lower jimps are done by hand too. The polished scales are cut from excellent woods or other high end materials and everything is put together with turned brass and 925 silver pieces.

We are delighted to offer you fully hollowed Koraat straight razors now.
These new fully hollowed Koraats shave great and the distinctive bevel (rigde) behind the edge adds to overall beautifull appearance.

Although fully hollowed this razor is suiable for novices as well. We recommend the 6/8 version then.
This Koraat straight razor weighs round about 60 Gramm in 6/8 and 90 Gramm in the 8/8 version.

These straight razors are sharpened to perfection by hand like all of our other razors too. We do the sharpening at Rasurpur ourselves.

The head of this straight nose razor is facetted to the side. The razor is completely polished and you find fine serrations on either side of the tang for an improved grip if you need it.
This is a stunning beautiful razor for beginners and pros alike.

This 8/8 has a wedge grind too and comes with a french head. Head, back and tang are polished. The top of the tang and the lower side has hand filed serrations (jimps).
The Abalone comes with a blue marbled wedge.

Note that it is not possible to get Mother-of-Pearl in such large pieces, so in order do make scales for straight razors, you have to cut pieces and glue them to a (high quality) plastic base. The last step is to cover the Mother-of-Pearl with a high quality resin to protect it.
