It took a long time to find a replacement for the Thiers Issard straight razors we had for a long time but decided to phase out due to quality issues. Now we found a very young company “Rasoir Sabre France” in Thiers (Thiers is to France what Solingen is to Germany.) which is willing to work with us in order to make excellent razors.
Rasoir Sabre France bought the rights for the old trademark “Le Grelot” in 2015 and right now they produce from historical Le Grelot they still have in stock and new Solingen blanks. These new forged blanks are thicker than usual and so they add a nice variety to razors you usually get from Germany.
We will work very closely with this company in order to fulfil special request like different head types etc.

5/8 Le Grelot
These famous Le Grelots are made from old stock razor blanks and new German blanks. They have a 1/2 to 1/1 hollow grind which makes them gentle and smooth at the edge and gives them a bit more stamina around the back. They just shave fantastic.
The 5/8 is suitable for beginners, the other straight razor rather not.
These razor are touched up or sharpened completely by us and they come shave ready out of the box.

The satin polished blade bears the very nice “Sparkle - Solingen Stahl” etching.
The lower side of the tang is serrated. Tang and back are polished.

Abura Tsubo - Japanese Oil Applicator - EMPTY
You don't want to put oil on a piece of cloth every time you want to oil your knives and razors or tools?Here is the solution.
Open the bottle in the middle and pour a very small amount of oil (f.i. Ballistol) onto the cotton. Then close it again and after some short time you can apply the oil with the wide wick at the top under the red cap.
The quite stiff wick will soften with use and time.
No dripping, no smelling (and in case you want to use Ballistol but you do not like the smell of it this is a great solution).

Leather Razor Wallet For Up To TWO Razors.
It took a little bit longer than expected but here it is: Our new razor wallet for up to two straight razors.
The really cool thing, besides the red threading and red leather pieces: The razors will be behind to each other instead of next to each other like usual. This safes space and looks nicer if you put only one straight razor in.

The leather is a bit tight at start but gets wider with use and will fit two normal thick razors. It will fit also our huge 8/8 (and 6/8) Koraat straights but only one, due to their thickness.
