Koh-I-Noor Brushes From Italy

Brushes from Koh-I-Noor in Italy

Koh-I-Noor was born 1930 as the exclusive Importer of Czechoslovakian producer of the first tooth brushes made from celluslose acetate. After acquiring the brand and the know-how from the company in Bratishlava, Koh-I-Noor began its Italian production in 1950.

Celluloid (which is just the common name for cellulose acetate) feels very nice and warm in your hand and is self polishing. It derived from Cotton and was used a lot for tortoise shell imitation.

The golden printing on the handles is not made for lasting long. It will rub off with time which is completely normal and cannot be avoided.

Toothbrush Polycarbonate with Soft Tynex, Soft Natural Bristles & Super Soft Badger Hair

We wanted to offer you the toothbrushes with celluloid handles too but the heads are so large that you cannot move the brush in your mouth.

So we tried the smaller ones with tynex (nylon) bristles, natural bristles and badger hair with transparent polycarbonate handles which are really beautiful and feel nice in your hand and mouth.
The natural bristles feel a little bit “harder” than the tynex but will become softer after some use.
We offer them with softer bristles because we made the experience that only a softer brush can reach between your teeth without hurting your gums.

Comes in a clear plastic container for storage while traveling.

Use a toothbrush like a shaving brush:
Do not press and do not scrub.
Rinse after use with cold or mildly warm water!

The brushes come unassorted in color as available!
